I’m a birth and postpartum doula servicing Inner West Sydney, Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, South Sydney, Western Sydney and surrounds.
As a mother of two boys, each with their own unique birth and postpartum journeys, I understand how deeply transformative this season can be, each time it happens.
What began as a personal calling has grown into supporting women and birthing people through this transition with calm, compassionate care - while quietly documenting their story as it unfolds. I believe matrescence deserves to be met with gentleness, continuity, and deeply attentive support, and it’s an honour to continue offering that to women and families through this work.
It has been the greatest joy supporting and documenting this journey for families, and I genuinely treasure each opportunity for that connection.
I can’t wait to connect with you.
Hi, I’m Amy.
Read more about me below.
My Approach
I bring together education, lived experience, and cultural heritage within my doula practice.
In many Japanese and Chinese traditions, birth and postpartum are approached with deep care, balance, and reverence - recognising that this transformative season requires holistic support for both body and mind. From nourishing foods and intentional rest to creating a calm, peaceful environment, these practices honour preparation and recovery as an essential part of the journey into parenthood.
My approach is grounded in both these cultural traditions and evidence-informed care. Drawing from my heritage, doula training, and continued learning in counselling, I offer support that is gentle, intuitive, and deeply human-centred.
Food, rest, nervous system support, and emotional holding are at the heart of my work, helping families feel nurtured, informed, and supported as they move through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
How I Support Families
I support families through pregnancy and postpartum in a way that honours their individual needs, capacity, and season of life. This could look like full continuity of care through pregnancy and postpartum, focussed birth education and pregnancy support, or tailored postpartum planning and care. Explore my offerings here.
At this stage, I offer birth preparation and postpartum support, with a particular focus on holding families who already feel supported in their birth space, but are seeking deeper preparation and care as they move through this transition.
If this resonates, I would love to connect. I offer a complimentary 30-minute video call to explore whether this feels like the right fit for you.
You’re welcome to reach out anytime.

Continuity of care during pregnancy, birth and postpartum offers women, birthing people and their families the reassurance of having a trusted support person through the entirety of their journey - a person who knows their story, values and preferences; a person who can advocate for them and make them feel safe. It’s truly the gold standard of care through such a transformative time.

Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) is an evidence-based approach to caring for babies and supporting parents during the early postpartum period. Developed by Dr Pamela Douglas, NDC focuses on understanding infant behaviour, protecting a baby’s developing nervous system, and supporting the wellbeing of the whole family.

During this season of life with two young ones, I’m not attending births however my passion for birth is as strong as ever. At this stage my focus is on holding families who already feel supported in their birth space, but are seeking deeper preparation and care as they move through this transition.

Ideally, as soon as you’ve decided you’d like one. I intentionally support a limited number of families each month to ensure every client receives deeply attentive and personalised care. Because of this, booking in advance is highly recommended.
